Experimentation – Embracing Novice

Truth: I have never been very good at the ink part of ‘pen and ink’. I have stacks of sketchbooks, hundreds of pages of drawings, but most are absent of color. I have been speaking about ‘trying new things’ and ‘getting out of your comfort zone’, so in the order of taking my own advice, I bought new Prismacolor markers. Pictured is the color test I did before embarking on my very humble first attempts at using them. Next, I will share my first color drawing iterations.
